Bootleg Alley pulls out of First Friday

What a run Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art hashad with First Friday on Main St.!   Our unique store has participated in66 consecutive First Friday gatherings.  A love of music, fun, andambience along with Payson friends has enriched our experience.
Unfortunately, stores close to us have gone out ofbusiness and no longer participate in First Friday.  Withregret, we have decided it is not practicalto continue hosting the first Friday each month.  We feeltorn as we really enjoy the event and were one of its founders. (It is our understanding that Artist of the Rim and Down the Street plan to beopen for First Friday in December.)    During our six years on Main St., changing times havecaused retail businesses to come and go.  As the economyimproves, we believe that antique, collectible and retail stores willonce again fill the now empty buildings on this busy street.  Whenthat happens, Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art hopes to continueour monthly party for Payson's locals and tourists.  Even thoughwe're not participating in First Friday this winter, we plan to stayopen for our regular business hours.
We feel that Historic Main St., where this town's firstChristmas tree stood in 1882, remains the "Heart of Payson".  Weencourage everyone to shop local this holiday season.  Let's all do ourpart to keep Payson's heart beating loudly.
With great appreciation for those of you whohave supported First Friday on Main St.
